摘要: The Short Beam Shear (SBS) and Interlaminar Device (LSD) tests are compared as methods for determining interlaminar shear strength of thermoplastic composite rings. rings were manufactured using laser-assisted on-line consolidation the is taken a measure quality parts subjected to various processing conditions. Although number test have been developed use with materials over years, none provide pure uniform shear, or entire stress-strain response failure from single specimen [Adams, D.F. Lewis, E.Q., Current status material methods. SAMPE 31, 1994,6,32-401. Hence, testing technique required efficient results. Through results, it can be seen that different mode acting in each tests. Finite Element Analyses (EEA) procedures show stress state at site SBS not whereas zone ISD. Therefore, concluded ISD provides better these specimens. 0 1997 Elsevier Science Limited
