An LP-based inconsistency monitoring of pairwise comparison matrices

摘要: A distance-based inconsistency indicator, defined by the third author for consistency-driven pairwise comparison method, is extended to incomplete case. The corresponding optimization problem transformed into an equivalent linear programming problem. results can be applied in process of filling matrix as decision maker gets automatic feedback. As soon a serious error occurs among elements, even due misprint, significant increase index reported. high may alarmed not only at end but also during completion process. Numerical examples are provided.
