Cryptanalysis of Goriparthi et al.’s Bilinear Pairing Based Remote User Authentication Scheme

摘要: Recently, many user authentication schemes with bilinear pairings have been proposed for client-server environment. In 2009, Goriparthi et al. an improved pairing based remote scheme. claimed that the scheme can withstand replay, forgery and insider attacks. However, this paper shows is not only insecure against off-line password guessing, server impersonation, Denial of Service, attacks, but also has mutual problem.
