摘要: Cancer susceptibility candidate 9 (CASC9) is a recently identified lncRNA that acted as tumor promotor in diversified cancer types. However, its role papillary thyroid (PTC) remains unknown. The expression of CASC9 was measured 52 human PTC tissues and cell lines well their controls. proliferation, migration, invasion cells were determined after knockdown or overexpression to evaluate the effect on cells. Also, tumorigenesis confirmed mice xenograft models. Additionally, underlying mechanisms further researched. We found augmented Higher associated with large size, advanced stage, lymph node metastasis. Downregulation significantly attenuated proliferative, migrative, invasive abilities cells, suppressed vivo. While elevated miR-488-3p decreased, ADAM9 level increased negatively related miR-488-3p, but positively tissues. Molecular mechanism analysis revealed functioned via sponging regulate expression, followed by activation EGFR-Akt signaling. In conclusion, promoted malignant phenotypes modulating miR-488-3p/ADAM9 pathway. This study may provide novel therapeutic target for treatment PTC.
