摘要: The presence of the prophenoloxidase (proPO) system in haemolymph Rhodnius prolixus and Triatoma infestans role played by Trypanosoma rangeli vitro activation proPO were tested. Both R. T. whole blood preparations showed a very active ProPO system. cascade two insect species differentially activated microbial-derived extracts: laminarin was better activator than blood, lipopolysaccharides from Shigella flexneri or Pseudomonas aeroginosa caused significant but not preparations. For species, neither culture nor parasite lysates able to trigger activation. haemolymph/laminarin assays, however, significantly reduced level that spontaneous activating controls. immobilization occurred both dependent on intensity. Our results suggest susceptibility haemocoel infection may be explained, at least part, suppression immune defence i.e., inhibition this protozoan parasite.
