摘要: Rationale and Objectives The aim of the present study was to characterize kinetics two nanoparticle-based contrast agents for preclinical imaging, Exitron nano 6000 12000, iodinated agent eXIA 160 in both healthy mice a mouse model hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Semiautomatic segmentation liver lesions estimation total tumor load evaluated HCC mice. Materials Methods normal time course enhancement assessed 15 C57BL/6 Imaging spread harboring transgenic (ASV-B mice). Automatic determination burden tested three additional ASV-B before after an experimental therapy. Results In mice, clearance from blood completed within 3–4 hours 6000, whereas complete 12000 required about 24 hours. provided maximum at 1 hour post injection (p.i.) followed by continuous decline. Enhancement with reached plateau 4 hours p.i., which lasted until end measurements 96 hours p.i. Maximum not statistically different between but times lower (P  Conclusions Both stronger longer lasting parenchyma. allowed automatic liver.
