摘要: Contarinia coffeae sp.n. is described from specimens reared Coffea arabica in Uganda, and brief notes are given on symptoms, biology, crop loss distribution. The larvae develop inside young coffee berries. Blister-like external swellings appear infested berries they later rot. pest known only parts of Western Uganda but may be spreading could other East Central African countries.
