摘要: Incorporation of relevant developmental, contextual, and theoretical factors strengthens the development delivery mindfulness meditation practices programs. This is especially important given proliferation diverse approaches models for adolescents. chapter explores these topics offers an overview selected contexts foundations adolescent development. These include theories frameworks placing in context based on circumstances adolescents served. Relevant are addressed including developmental neuroscience, cognitive-behavioral theory, systems perspectives, transtheoretical model change. The relevance considering identity positive youth formation programs also addressed.
