Hypercoagulability in acute ischemic stroke analysis of the extrinsic coagulation reactions in plasma by a highly sensitive automated method

摘要: The coagulability of plasmas from 63 patients with acute ischemic stroke (cerebral thrombosis and cerebral embolism) was analyzed by an automated method for prothrombin time using a fluorogenic peptide substrate. (FPT) patients' collected within 48 hr after onset, as expressed percent control plasma, significantly higher in than age-matched group (p less 0.01). high values FPT were observed until the 30th day onset. On other hand, embolism not different that group. Factor VII activity levels those patients, while factor X among these groups. Although did correlate, correlate well antigen. Decreased antithrombin III elevated FDP alpha 2-antiplasmin-plasmin complexes only patients. Our findings strongly suggest have been hypercoagulable state before onset symptoms, which caused part increase activity/antigen, unknown mechanisms. In contrast, low grade consumptive coagulopathy.
