摘要: This paper analyzes the lithostratigraphic features and ostracod associations of Pliocene deposits located in western sector Guadalquivir basin (SW Spain). A regressive cycle is defined by vertical distribution five main facies (FA-1 to FA-5), which were deposited upper bathyal fluvial palaeoenvironments. The broad palaeontological record utilized draw a general outline food chain each palaeoenvironment. comparison with southeastern Spain, southwestern France Portugal permits define common biozonation for Europe during this period.
