摘要: The mononuclear sodium(I) complex [NaL(HL)] (1) [where HL is (OH)C6H4–CO–HN–N=CC6H3(OMe)(OH) synthesized by condensation of o-vanillin and salicyloylhydrazine] has been prepared characterized IR, elemental analysis, single crystal X-ray diffraction, cyclic voltammetry. Single diffraction analysis reveals that NaL(HL) a neutral complex. Each six-coordinate Na(I) in the unit linked through O bridges forming ladder-like arrangement 1-D double chain. oxidation–reduction processes have determined CH3CN displayed two quasi-reversible reduction couples one oxidation response between +1.0 −0.6 V. trend half wave potentials reflects electronic nature hydrazone ligand. antibacterial activity results show possesses strong inhibition against Staphyloccus aureus Bacillus subtilis.
