摘要: In the last several years, considerable ICME related research has been directed towards study of multiscale materials design. However, relatively little effort gone into integrated design engineered and products. this paper, we describe a foundational problem that is being used to validate demonstrate construct enable approaches computational platform. The involves steel gears, traversing across chain making, mill production, component fabrication performance testing tracking evolution material during these processes linking mechanical component. are focused on addressing following key challenges in products materials: uncertainty management, complexity holistic verification validation. management critical understanding relationship between costs value resulting information decision making process.
