摘要: A survey has been made to identify and assess the shellfish resources potential along Kalpakkam coastal waters. Stratified random sampling was used collected were identified down species level. total of 108 belonging 18 crustaceans, 86 molluscs, 4 echinoderms identified. complete checklist entire marine faunal information around coast is not available yet. Therefore, present work carried out Madras Atomic Power Station (MAPS), sites, India. In addition, will provide baseline ecologists taxonomists in future systematic with respect MAPS.
