摘要: Three different responses to sodium nitroprusside as a hypotensive agent during anaesthesia in children are described. A constant high dose (> 3 mg/Kg) response to, abnormal resistance and tachyphylaxis the drug recognised dangerous potentially lethal. They probably related abnormalities of cyanide-thiocyanate metabolism resulting cyanide accumulation. The produce metabolic acidosis, an increase mixed venous oxygen tension decrease arterial-mixed content difference. Tachyphylaxis may be due depletion endogenous thiosulphate was reversible by therapy (150 mgm/Kg) two cases which it used.
