摘要: There is ample evidence that all three isoforms of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) are expressed within the various cell types in myocardium (see Table 1). The coordinate physiological regulation cardiac muscle contraction by NO• 2) produced each these mandates a tight both expression and activity NOS isoform specific type. Therefore, despite apparent promiscuity having muscle, predominant cellular source heart may vary according to transcriptional posttranscriptional stimuli differentially affecting type and/or (as will subsequently be illustrated for eNOS).
