摘要: Abstract Nannochloropsis is an algal species with a worldwide biotechnological interest. To improve biomass and lipid productivities of this alga while grown in outdoor paddle-wheel driven raceway ponds, different harvesting frequencies were implemented. Four (10% harvested, five days (R10F5), 20% three (R20F3), 30% two (R30F2) 40% one day (R40F1) week) tested to identify their potential effects on productivity. The highest productivity 41.7 ± 1.9 mgL−1d−1 was achieved when harvested week (R10F5). In general, the sp. R10F5 > R20F3 > R30F2 > R40F1. However, content 59.7 ± 1.8% obtained frequency (R40F1). found be up 50.7% higher than other treatments (R40F1 > R10F5 = R20F3 = R30F2). Due significantly content, R10F5 R40F1, respectively showed (R10F5 = R40F1 ≥ R20F3 = R30F2). Based results, it can concluded that influences proper management would help achieve optimum targeted product (biomass and/or lipid). If aim generate biomass, high harvest preferred; however, sacrificing by lowering enhance content. contrast, if ultimate mass production both lipid, frequent solution.
