摘要: Apolipoprotein E (apoE) is a lipid-binding, 37 kDa, 299 amino acid glycoprotein involved in cholesterol and phospholipid transport metabolism. ApoE mediates the uptake of lipid complexes through interaction with apoB/ApoE (LDL) receptor other receptors1. The LDL pathway consists cell surface binding apoE-containing lipoproteins followed by internalization degradation lipoprotein lysosomal pathway2. In peripheral nervous system, apoE has been proposed to be repair, growth maintenance membranes during development or following injury3,4. central released from astrocytes response injury such as entorhinal cortex lesions rat plays pivotal role redistribution phospholipids synaptic remodeling compensatory synaptogenesis5,6.
