摘要: Many viruses are transmitted by arthropod vectors. An important mode of transmission is the noncirculative or mechanical where attach to vector mouthparts for transport a new host. It has long been assumed that an unsophisticated viral spread, and in simplest case mere contamination mouthparts. However, emerging evidence strongly suggests transmission, like other strategies, results from specific interactions between pathogens, hosts, Recently, insights into this concept have obtained, demonstrating plant virus responds instantly presence its aphid on host forming morphs. This novel concept, named Transmission Activation (TA), respond directly via outside world, opens research horizons.
