摘要: The numbers and serotypes of Clostridium perfringens present in the faeces three groups hospital patients young healthy laboratory workers were examined studies lasting between 10 13 weeks. In one some long-stay geriatric carried relatively high C. (greater than 10(7)/g) most time it was not unusual any week for majority these to carry same serotype(s). However, range 10(3)-10(4)/g carriage common observed. These results similar findings with workers. This investigation indicates that two criteria often used food poisoning, i.e. faecal counts greater or equal 10(5) perfringens/g carrying serological type need be interpreted caution suspected outbreaks involving patients.
