摘要: The increasingly important role of big data in organisational decision-making brings with it significant challenges terms designing usable software interfaces. Specifically, such interfaces must allow users to explore, analyse, and visualise complex from heterogeneous sources derive insights support management decisions. This paper describes a usability evaluation the MIDAS Project, platform for health policy-making, developed by an EU-funded Horizon 2020 project involving number international partners pilot sites. We describe how combination heuristic formative user-centred methods were employed, give summary key findings. discuss evaluation, including importance having diverse users, played users’ prior expectations, logistical challenge coordinating user testing across multiple Finally, we explore relative value each methods, outline our approach will evolve future iterations platform.
