摘要: The metabolism of trans-[8-14C]zeatin was examined in embryos Phaseolus vulgaris cv Great Northern (GN) and P. lunatus Kingston (K) an attempt to detect genetic variations organized plant tissues. Metabolites were fractionated by HPLC, identified chemical enzymic tests GC-MS analyses. Five major metabolites recovered from embryo extracts: ribosylzeatin, ribosylzeatin 5′-monophosphate, O-glucoside two novel metabolites, designated as I II. Based on results degradation analyses, II tentatively O-ribosyl derivatives zeatin ribosylzeatin. In lunatus, however, not present. the O-glucosyl same for different sizes but their quantities varied with size incubation time. differences appear be embryo-specific may useful studies possible relationship between abnormal interspecific hybrid growth hormonal derangement Phaseolus. addition, analyses both (intact) unorganized (callus) tissues genotype provide opportunity address problem differential expression genes regulating cytokinin during development.
