摘要: The adsorption of CO{sub 2} on K-dosed Pt(111) was studied by high-resolution electron energy loss and thermal desorption spectroscopy. Adsorption produced measurable vibrational spectra at low K coverage ({theta}{sub K} = 0.05) as well for a multilayer 1.27). At {theta}{sub {approx} 0.49, intense losses were observed 1600 {plus minus} 20, 1340 820 20 cm{sup {minus}1} tentatively attributed to the asymmetric stretching, symmetric bending modes bent 2}{sup {minus}} species formed direct interaction metallic potassium 2}. may be stabilized in form dimer or oxalate. Above 200 K, this surface is transformed into carbonate CO, which are characterized features 1440 {minus}1}, respectively. CO desorbs above 600 (T{sub p} 640 K), while decomposes 650 674 790 K).
