摘要: An amazingly diverse range of stimuli can lead to a constellation response outputs collectively known as the stress response. This article reviews neural circuitry involved in regulation one these outputs, hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenocortical (HPA) axis. Understanding how different brain regions are processing various types stressors, with information converging activate HPA axis, is emphasized.
