摘要: Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the mechanical and physical properties a newly developed fiber reinforced dental composite. Materials Methods: Fiber composite EverX Posterior (EXP, GC EUROPE), other commercially available bulk fill composites, including Filtek Bulk Fill (FB, 3M ESPE), SonicFill (SF, Kerr Corp.), SureFil (SDR, Dentsply), Venus (VB, HerausKultzer), Tetric evoceram (TECB, Ivoclar Vivadent), Xtra Base (XB, Voco) were characterized. Composite samples light-cured with LED device evaluated in terms flexural strength, modulus (ISO 4049, n = 6), fracture toughness (n Vickers hardness (0, 2, 4 mm depth at 24 hr, 5). EXP surface observed under scanning electron microscopy. Data statistically analyzed using one-way ANOVA unpaired t-test. Results: EXP, FB, VB had significantly higher value compared all types. SF, XB not different, strength values tested materials. highest modulus, lowest values. revealed TECB, SEM observations show well dispersed fibers working as reinforcing phase. Conclusions: addition methacrylate-based matrix results composites either comparable or superior materials tested. (Restor Dent Endod 2015;40(4):262-270)
