摘要: BACKGROUND/AIMS Liver resection for metastatic liver disease of colorectal origin, although considered as the 'gold standard' treatment, is associated with limited long-term survival. The aim this study was to compare overall survival, disease-free survival and incidence intra- or extrahepatic recurrence between patients who were randomly assigned have locoregional chemoimmunotherapy systemic chemotherapy group A (n = 62 patients) versus those treated immunochemotherapy B 60 patients). METHODOLOGY Group included who, after resection, received combined chemotherapy, while had undergone immunotherapy following resection. two groups matched in terms sex, age stage disease. Prognostic factors their impact on studied both groups. RESULTS Two-year 92% 75% B, 5-year 73% 60% B. During two-year period, 34% 52% developed either intrahepatic (P < 0.00212). CONCLUSIONS From analysis above results it becomes clear that regional leads a decrease thus significant prolongation
