摘要: Abstract This study is the first reported test of unique and combined effects Brief Motivational Intervention (BMI) Alcohol Expectancy Challenge (AEC) with heavy drinking college students. Three hundred thirty-five participants were randomly assigned in a 2 × 2 factorial design to either: BMI, AEC, BMI assessment only conditions. Follow-ups occurred at 1, 3, 6 months. Unconditional latent curve analyses suggested that alcohol use ( Q – F ), episodic drinking, problems best modeled as quadratic effects. produced significant decreases , problems, while AEC drinking. There was no evidence an additive effect combining interventions. decayed somewhat for completely over Multi-group similar intervention men women. on mediated by perceived norms.
