摘要: The Cooperative Awareness Basic Service and Decentralized Environmental Notification have been standardized by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) to support vehicular safety traffic efficiency applications needing continuous status information about surrounding vehicles asynchronous notification of events, respectively. These standard specifications detail not only packet formats for both Message (CAM) (DENM), but also general message dissemination rules. basic services, known as facilities, developed part a set standards in which ISO ETSI describe Reference Communication Architecture future Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). By using communications stack that instantiates this reference architecture, paper puts practice usage facilities real scenario. This research work details implementation decisions evaluates performance CAM DENM through experimental testbed deployed semi-urban environment uses IEEE 802.11p (ETSI G5-compliant), is WiFi-like communication technology conceived communications. On one hand, validation considers development two ITS functionalities tracking disseminating incidences. In case, demonstrated be able offer all necessary functionality study case. other validated extensive testing campaign order analyze influence aspects such vehicle speed, signal quality or these tests, line sight, equipment installation point hardware capabilities, found key variables network performance, while speed has implied slight impact.
