摘要: Three morphological groups are found in a salamandrid newt Tylototriton shanjing from Thailand. We describe two of them as new species, one northern and the other northeastern Thailand, based on molecular data, however we could not make taxonomic decision remaining group because lack voucher specimens sufficient genetic data. The species differs morphologically all known congeners by having combination orange to reddish brown markings, narrow sharply protruding dorsolateral bony ridges head, weakly segmented vertebral ridge, long high tail. is characterized yellow, orange, or wide moderately smooth black limbs, tail except for edges. Validity subdivision genus discussed.
