摘要: Abstract We report observation of enhanced emission the diffuse violet band at 436.0 nm when sodium vapor is optically pumped with a pulsed dye laser output wavelength in 570–595 region. A significant observed forward direction along propagating beam tuned to near two-photon excited 4d state Na atom. At density higher than 10 15 cm -3 predominantly produced through processes associated excitation 2 . The dependence on and power presented.
