An Exploration of Heterogeneity in an Inpatient Male Alcoholic Population*

摘要: This study investigated whether the 11 personality scales of Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory (MCMI) would reveal meaningful heterogeneity in an inpatient male alcoholic sample. A cluster analysis MCMI scale scores 126 inpatients yielded four psychometrically distinct subgroups that met criteria for selection clusters. Differences between clusters were tested on a range member characteristics and questionnaire items relevant to comprehensive view etiology treatment alcoholism. Significant differences found age, religion, type substance use problem, completion.
