摘要: Hydridocarbynes with the formula Tp’((CO)2M≡C-H (M = Mo, W; Tp’ [HB(3,5-Me2C3HN2)3]-) have been prepared by fluorodesilylation of carbyne precursors, Tp’(CO)2M≡C-SiMe2Ph. Both molybdenum and tungsten terminal monomers undergo dimerization reactions to form unusual vinylidene-bridged products, Tp’(CO)2M(μ-η2:η2-CCH2)M(CO)2Tp’. Spectroscopic properties these complexes are described herein as is solid state x-ray structure dimer. Electrochemical data a qualitative molecular orbital description dimeric products also presented.
