摘要: DNA adenine methylase mutants of Salmonella typhimurium contain reduced amounts FinP, an antisense RNA encoded by the virulence plasmid pSLT. Lowered FinP levels are detected in both Dam- FinO+ and FinO- backgrounds, suggesting that Dam methylation regulates production rather than half-life. Reduced F-encoded likewise found Escherichia coli. A consequence scarcity absence is S. E. coli show elevated F transfer. Inhibition fertility also impaired a background.
