摘要: The basal and LH-stimulated levels of progesterone (P) 20a-hydroxypregn- 4-en-3-one (20α-OH) released from the rabbit ovary in vivo during pregnancy pseudopregnancy have been correlated this study with luteal weights relative amounts cholesterol stored corpora lutea (CL) interstitial tissue (IST). P output weight were greatest between days 15–20 when ratio P/ 20α-OH was 1.34. At time release estimated to be 3.06 mg/24 hr. After day 20, declined gradually 0.46 hr final week dropped 0.27. Throughout gestation, CL-cholesterol/IST-cholesterol remained low, indicating that sterol being continuously mobilized by CL.
