摘要: Abstract Nitric oxide (NO) and peroxynitrite (ONOO) have been reported to destroy catecholamines. We compared the ability of NO donors decompose epinephrine in both chemical pharmacological experiments. Epinephrine (1 μM) was incubated with (SNAP MAHMA NONOate) ONOO at a concentration 0.1 mM phosphate buffer (pH 7.4; M) or Krebs solution for 10 minutes 37 °C. HPLC revealed that presence unaltered. In contrast, decreased more than 20 fold. Similar relationships were obtained study rat thoracic aorta ring contraction. The contractile activity (EC50) control solutions after incubation NE did not change. EC50 measured 8–10 nM preincubation donors. However when preincubated peroxynitrite, no effect evoked. Therefore, under these experimental conditions but donors, capable destroying epinephrine.
