摘要: The Mediterranean diet has been long associated with improved cardiovascular prognosis, chemoprevention, and lower incidence of neurodegeneration. Of the multiple components this diet, olive oil stands out because its use historically limited to basin. health benefits some are being rapidly decoded. In paper we review most recent pharma-nutritional investigations on biophenols their effects, chiefly focusing findings that elucidate molecular mechanisms action.
