摘要: Serotonergic psychedelics act as agonists at cortical 5-HT2A receptors and seem to induce personality changes. We conducted a systematic review of studies assessing the effects these drugs on personality. Papers published from 1985-2016 were included PubMed, LILACS, SciELO databases. Three hundred sixty-nine identified, 18 included. Specific traits, such Absorption Self-Transcendence, influence psychedelics, psychedelic drug users nonusers appear differ in some traits. Psychedelics administered controlled settings may changes, increased Openness Self-Transcendence. Increases global brain entropy induced by acute administration predicted changes Openness, Self-Transcendence was negatively correlated with thinning posterior cingulate cortex long-term religious ayahuasca users. Acute use is associated that be modulated receptors. These therapeutic should further explored randomized studies.
