摘要: In this paper, a nonlinear theory of elastic boundary coating (or reinforcement) an solid is developed for plane strain deformations. The consists material curve endowed with intrinsic properties associated extensibility and bending stiffness bonded to part, or all, the bounding body. equations describing equilibrium coated body when subject finite deformation are derived using variational method. incremental small departure from configuration then used investigate stability deformed possibility bifurcation. The applied analysis finitely half-plane consisting compressible along its edge. influence on bifurcation behaviour half–plane assessed against known results uncoated half–plane. Numerical illustrate certain parameters bifurcation.
