摘要: We investigated the antioxidative effect of black garlic extract (BGE) on paraquat (PQ)- induced oxidative stress in mice. A DPPH radical scavenging activity assay showed that BGE had potent free activity, comparable to exhibited by vitamin C. Mice were administered with either C or two levels oral gavage for 10 days, PQ being injected intraperitoneally day five. It was found reduced liver enzyme injection The concentrations plasma and hepatic malonedialdehyde both significantly groups compared group, whereas superoxide dismutase catalase activities increased group. These findings suggest has vivo thus could prevent mice mechanisms: induction antixoxidative systems direct reactive oxygen species.
