摘要: SUMMARY Background: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by a number of serious and debilitating behavioral psychological symptoms dementia (BPSD). The most common these BPSD apathy, which represents major source morbidity premature institutionalization in the AD population. Many studies have identified discrete changes to dopaminergic (DAergic) system patients with AD. DAergic closely related brain reward (BRS) some suggested that dysfunction may account for apathy Method: Changes dopamine (DA) will be reviewed, evidence supporting involvement development examined. Additionally, pharmacological interventions DA activity been identified. utility treatments population focus on as an outcome. Results: Evidence presented this review suggests areas important correlate rational target treatment apathy.
