摘要: The sensing of changes in skin temperature is important (a) contributing to the total sensory information about an object making contact with skin, and (b) assessing body heat loss or gain, that occurs over a large part surface. These functions depend on resolution small, local, shifts temperature, effective spatial summation by central nervous system thermal stimulus information. Aδ cold fiber populations excited uniquely cooling unmyelinated warm fibers only warming constitute "labeled lines" signal all immediate available brain temperature.
