摘要: Through a detailed study of the specific heat, resistivity, and susceptibility under pressure in polycrystalline single-crystal CoS 2, we demonstrate that thermodynamic transport properties this system are governed by spin-density fluctuations. We give correct (P,T) coordinates its tricritical point discuss origin first-order magnetic phase transition system. Our results highlight importance having clean single crystals order to extract definitive conclusions about intrinsic itinerant weak ferromagnets. © 2008 The American Physical Society.
