摘要: A new unique dual-structure hydrogel composed of nanostructures amphiphilic chitosan (CHC) dispersed in a sodium alginate matrix (SAL) is presented. The successful creation the composite based on combining and without precipitation or agglomeration, which has not been previously reported. CHC/SAL gels present number properties making them attractive for biomedical applications, particular as implantable depot dermal applications. are shown to form rapidly upon exposure combination solution Ca2+ containing gelation medium. formed have storage moduli similar soft tissue display shear reversible with fast recovery mechanical properties, addition self-healing capability at certain compositions. exhibit moderate swelling deionized water low simulated body fluid cell culture media. drug release from demonstrated using hydrophobic all-transretinoic acid, used cancer skin disorder therapies. initially occurs through Fickian mechanism fraction loaded drug, where released during this process depends media gel composition. large can be retained long term delivery. Furthermore, determined toxicity irritation.
