摘要: Hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (HICH) is generally considered to be a monophasic event. Enlargement of the initial hematoma after several hours or days has rarely been documented. We describe clinical and CT findings in 8 patients (5 men, 3 women, aged 39 68 years) with continued bleeding rebleeding during acute phase HICH. The thalamus was most frequent site (6/8). neurologic status deteriorated all: 6 within 24 hours, 2 5 7 days. Persistent hypertension common (6/8) prior extension hemorrhage. 2nd revealed an obvious increase size all cases. Four died 4 survived severe disability. These serial studies indicate that active can occur HICH suggests risk particularly high thalamic conclude meticulous control may justified selected patients.
