The aim our study was determine frequency urinary tract (UTI) clinically asymptomatic CAPD. included 43 (22F, 21M) stable CAPD with diuresis ranged from 300 2500 ml per 24 h. Clean catch urine specimen, cultured identified by standard technique. Urine 31 had no significant organism growth, 12 grew over 100,000 colonies ml; 8 been infected E. coli, 2 pts Proteus mirabilis, Enterococcus gallinarum, Klebsiella oxytocea. 7/12 were diabetic, 67% 13% not pyuria. CONCLUSIONS Immune system disturbance renal failure can predispose common UTI pts. coli is bacterial strain found dialysis Diabetes mellitus additional predisposing factor for Pyuria a valuable parameter patients.
