摘要: We studied the performance of AZTI Marine Biotic Index AMBI manipulating input data collected from lagoonal ecosystems. Our set consisted macrofaunal abundance and biomass counts gathered at a variety sites which disturbance status was known. Input were also manipulated using transformations increasing severity. indices calculated raw transformed abundance, production. Among three categories AMBI-based indices, medium transformation gave highest correlation with pressures. However, severity generally resulted in decrease environmental factors. The relative importance ecological groups changed when or biomass, sometimes leading to an improved classification. Being production more ecologically relevant than them derive new seems intriguing, least waters, where community is naturally disturbed dominated by opportunists.
