摘要: Aims: To investigate the Voice Handicap Index (VHI), health-related quality of life (HRQL), and correlations between VHI HRQL in laryngectomees. Methods: Forty-three laryngectomized persons participated (mean age 68;6 years, time since laryngectomy 0;6 12 years). Evaluation voice handicap was done with VHI. evaluated questionnaires from European Organization for Research Treatment Cancer, EORTC QLQ-C30 QLQ-H&N35. Results: whole group demonstrated a moderate handicap, mean score 48/120. The functional scales resulted scores on same level as normal population exception lower global scale (Global QOL). QLQ-H&N35 revealed problems smell taste, speech, coughing, xerostomia, sexuality. correlated significantly Global QOL, scales, dyspnea, pain, nausea financial difficulties (EORTC QLQ-C30). Significant were also found speech problems, social contact, pain head neck area, sense sexuality eating QLQ-H&N35). Conclusion: combination questionnaire seem to capture most following laryngectomy, including problems.
