摘要: Environmental factors such as temperature and desiccation impact the survival efficacy of entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs). Most studies on environmental tolerance have focused EPNs applied in aqueous suspension. Another approach for EPN application is via infected host cadavers. Emergence cadavers also more representative natural populations. In prior studies, certain advantages fitness been observed with cadaver relative to application, yet stress these approaches requires investigation. this study, we compared effects various temperatures (heat cold) intervals (48 72 hr) survival, virulence reproductive capacity Heterorhabditis bacteriophora Steinernema glaseri when versus heat bioassays, following exposure 30 °C, 35 °C 37. 5 °C, (from both species) treatments exhibited higher application. No was above 37.5 °C regardless species or approach. cold tolerance, no differences were between after a sequence exposures from 10 °C -2 °C. assays, 85% humidity 2 3 days, reproduction treatment than treatment, whereas virulence. This first study find differential among emerged those Our findings indicate additional using biocontrol applications, suggest existing populations may broader
