摘要: Abstract Burullus lagoon is one of four natural water bodies known as northern Egyptian delta lakes. The extended maximum long 53 km and width 13 km with an area about 420 km 2 . pollution bottom sediment the indicative both food web quality in general. A few research were carried out related to study arsenic, selenium, tin antimony. main objective this assessment environmental effects antimony metals, twenty-one samples collect from sediments sample among sites covering Lagoon during summer 2014, analyzed by using simultaneous inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer. contamination these metals was evaluate applying index factor (CF) geoaccumulation (Igeo). relative order abundance potentially toxic lagoon's Se > Sn > Sb > As territory around inlet southeastern drain show considerable studied metals. reason for such resulting industrial activities agricultural drains. disregards anthropogenic are lagoon. Construction special units treatment purification all types drainage wastewater (agricultural, industrial). Successive analysis lake assess amount pollutants make suitable decisions. Take action prohibit throwing wastes Consumption must be under control decrease pollution.
