摘要: Abstract Analyses were conducted to determine the effects of irradiation, chemosterilization with Dimilin (diflubenzuron), and infection three strains Staphylococcus aureus on chemistry hemolymph adult boll weevils, Anthonomus grandis . The 7-fold decrease sodium in blood was associated loss nerve conductivity resultant muscular activity γ-irradiated Dimilin-fed 5- 8-day-old weevils. Concomitantly, magnesium increased 4-fold calcium 2-fold. Blood enzyme levels 40–60% all treatments. Alpaline phosphatase 2-fold serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase 2000-fold day old adults infected
