摘要: Highly resistant pathogens may be developed in patients with immune disorders after prolonged exposure to antibiotics, a growing threat worldwide. In order overcome these problems, this study introduces new class of engineered nanosystems comprising tea tree oil nanoemulsion (TTO NE) loaded Ag nanoparticles (NPs). Silver shows strong toxicity towards wide range microorganisms. Also, TTO NE could employed as promising and safe antimicrobial agent for local therapies bacterial infections. The nanosystem was prepared by low-energy method. Mean droplet size the found 17.7 nm. Results antibacterial assays showed ability designed eradication Gram-positive Gram-negative bacteria (95%). it shown that introducing colloidal NPs exerted synergistic effect against Escherichia coli (FIC 0.48) while only an additive observed Staphylococcus aureus 0.75). effects NE+Ag together their compatibility human cells can present them suitable candidate fight resistance threat.
